Welcome To Bramhall Health Centre

This is a long-standing teaching practice with eight doctors operating from purpose-built accommodation in the centre of the village (90% of our patients live within three miles of the Health Centre). Our status as a teaching practice means that we help to train qualified doctors to become General Practitioners. We are also involved in teaching medical students.

There are currently over 13,000 patients registered with the practice.

The building also houses other services run by NHS Stockport such as the dressing clinic nurse, counsellors, district nurses, health visitors, midwives, physiotherapists, speech therapists and podiatrists. This provides an ideal basis for a primary health care team approach to problems.

The practice is dedicated to providing a high level of medical care for our patients. We continuously strive to improve our services by encouraging staff attendance on update courses, organising in-house teaching sessions and audits for all staff.

Bramhall Health Centre Building

Please note that the Bramhall Health Centre building is owned by NHS Stockport and not by the doctors in the practice. NHS Stockport is also responsible for the maintenance of the building including fixtures, fittings, cleaning and decorations including paintwork. If you feel the building is not being maintained or decorated adequately, then we would encourage you to write to the following address:
